Palora Yellow is one of the true yellow varieties, smooth-skinned instead of the spiky yellow you sometimes see, and it's one of the sweetest dragon fruit we grow.

🌱 Growing it

It's a slower, more compact grower than a lot of our red and pink varieties, so it's a good pick if you're working with limited space. Patience pays off here.

🍉 The fruit

Smooth golden-yellow skin with no spines to deal with, wrapped around bright white flesh dotted with small black seeds. Fruit runs on the smaller side, but it's punchy in flavor.

😋 Taste

Intensely sweet and tropical, closer to a mix of kiwi and honeydew than the mild flavor people associate with red or pink dragon fruit. It's the one that converts skeptics.
