Shayna is a bit of a showstopper, both on the plant and on the plate. It grows into a big, striking cactus and puts out enormous flowers, so it tends to become the plant people ask about in your yard.

🌱 Growing it

It's a fast, aggressive climber that transforms from a single cutting into a large, productive plant, and it comes back bigger and heavier every season. Nice bonus: it's self fertile, so it can set fruit on its own pollen, though cross pollination will bump your production even higher.

🍉 The fruit

The flesh is an intensely vibrant magenta, deep enough that it almost glows when fully ripe. It grows medium to large with a smooth, juicy texture.

😋 Taste

Sweet and juicy with layers of berry, grape, and kiwi. Genuinely high sugar, around 17 to 21 brix, balanced by a light, refreshing tang.
